Human Governance

Human Authority Is Not a Final Checkbox

Human governance is embedded throughout the mission loop through human-defined objectives, approved data and model use, delegated decision boundaries, policy-controlled access, reviewable recommendations, required approvals, time-bound authorization, continuous supervision, escalation and revocation, and outcome accountability.

DDIL Principle

Disconnection Must Not Expand Authority

Loss of communication cannot grant additional authority.

Before disconnection, systems receive approved objectives, constraints, safe behaviors, duration limits, escalation rules, and recovery procedures. During disconnection, they continue only within preauthorized boundaries. After reconnection, mission state, actions, evidence, and exceptions are reconciled.

Accountability

A Closed Loop With Open Accountability

The Governed Mission Loop joins sensing, reasoning, planning, authorization, action, and learning. The result is not fully autonomous command. It is a faster, coherent, evidence-backed environment under accountable human authority.
